Beckham, Romeo: Romeo, the son of David Beckham, has been signed by Brentford on loan from Inter Miami until the end of the season. Brentford B has completed the loan signing.
After training with the west Londoners' reserve team following the 2022 MLS season, the 20-year-old, the second-oldest son of the former England captain, will play for the club's B team.
Like his father, Beckham played right wing for Fort Lauderdale CF before it was renamed Inter Miami II in 2021. David, Romeo's father, started his Inter Miami team at the start of the MLS season in 2020.
In July of last year, the midfielder played six minutes for Inter Miami's first team in a preseason friendly against Barcelona.
Beckham was a member of Arsenal's academy in 2014 before making the move to the United States to play football. Since Romeo joined us, we've been overjoyed," stated Brentford B head coach Neil MacFarlane.
"He came to us from Inter Miami with the intention of collaborating with us during their final season. Romeo has applied himself exceptionally well and has fully embraced the culture and group he has joined.
