MAN CITY READY TO OFF-LOAD A "BIG PLAYER"

According to CMW, Manchester City are willing to part with £270,000-a-week player Jack Grealish in order to sign Rafael Leao from AC Milan for Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, who are both interested in Leao.

CMW reports that defending champions City want to sign Portugal international forward Rafael Leao from AC Milan and are willing to include England international attacking midfielder Jack Grealish in a swap deal. Leao has been linked with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

The £270,000-a-week (SalarySport) attacker has struggled since joining City from Villa, and the Citizens are ready to cut their losses and bring in 23-year-old Leao, whom former Chelsea and Liverpool star Joe Cole has dubbed "a real firework."

CMW claims that Milan would not consider such a swap arrangement.

CMW reported earlier this month that Chelsea might offer AC Milan forward Leao €120 million (£106 million), a player Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur want.

CMW had previously reported that Tottenham are interested in signing Leao, who has scored six goals and contributed four assists for Milan in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League thus far this season.

While City are one of the biggest clubs in the world and regularly win the Premier League and compete for the UEFA Champions League, Milan may not want a swap deal involving Leao and Grealish.

In the summer of 2023, Leao might be tempted to leave Milan for City.
