Unknown gunmen suspected to be member of IPOB has razed Mbieri Divisional Police Headquaters in Imo state in Mbaitoli Local government of Imo state again on Thursday morning at about 2a.m in the morning.
According to eye witnesses the gunmen razed the police station and freed some prisoners but not without a great resistance from the police on duty, which helped to reduce the effect of the attacked.
"We fought them but they overwhelmed us, they were armed with more advance weapon" police on site report.
the state police spokeman Orlando Ikeokwu confirmed the attack and also announce that one police officer was abducted and two others have been wounded as a result of the officers resistance.
This is really a concern not for the people of Imo but for Nigeria at large if her security offices are not safe WHO ELSE IS?
