Its no longer news that Imo state is facing one of her toughest challenge on security in recent times, with gunmen attacking the state police headquarters and also other police stations across the state.
The former IGP Mohammed Adamu had insisted that the members of Biafra (IPOB)/ Eastern security Network(ESN), are the once behind this attacks, with the IPOB/ESN coming out to deny any involvement in such malicious attack on the state.
The Chief security officer and Governor of the state GOV. Uzodinma while addressing the press said the IPOB/ESN has no hand in the recent attack within his states and pointed that such dreaded acts where carried out by hoodlums and sponsored by politicians, he said those who were involved are from outside the state disguised as IPOB/ESN and were paid to carry out such and act.
The Governor also made a strong statement on recent finding and investigation of the police claiming the state now has the names of the politicians that sponsored the attack on his state in recent times and assured the good people of Imo of that arrest will be made soonest and justice will prevail,
He also asked the people to remain calm and be assured that the safety of their lives and properties remain safe as security measures are on RED ALERT to ensure that across the state
This has raised reaction from all round urging the governor to make known the names of the politicians they discovered to be sponsoring this attacks to the press and general public and let law take it cause.
